HAKKI ÖZYAŞA
Born in 1996 and currently based in Cyprus, I am a professional motorsport photographer and visual storyteller with a BA (Hons) in Photography from the University of Wolverhampton. My photographic journey began in documentary photography, working extensively with film cameras, traditional processes, and producing high-quality darkroom prints. These foundations gave me a deep understanding of composition, lighting, and storytelling.
Over the years, my passion for capturing movement and energy led me to transition from analogue to digital photography, focusing primarily on motorsport events and high-speed action. I combine the precision and patience of my documentary background with the dynamic, adrenaline-filled nature of motorsport, creating imagery that blends technical excellence with creative impact.
Whether photographing competitive racing, behind-the-scenes moments, or intimate portraits, my approach remains consistent: to tell a compelling visual story that resonates with both the subject and the viewer.
